I am selling my 2002 chevy cavalier 2 door coupe with spoiler. I love this car and don't want to get rid of it, but i've decided rent is more important so my loss will be your gain this time.
I will post the good and the bad of this car. It runs very smooth and engine is strong I just want the buyer to know every little thing.
BASICS:
2002 Chevy Cavalier 2 door coupe with spoiler 2.2
167,xxx miles
Manual transmission
Kbb for "good" condition is just over $2400
good conditions means there are no major damges to the cosmetics of the vehicle and no major mechanical damages either.
This car is all black with tint
has 4 brand new tires
Runs VERY nice and very fun to drive
has rear spoiler and mp3 cdplayer which has an aux slot for your mp3 player
6 spearker sound system with 6x9's in the back and two door mounted tweeters
clean interior which is all black
heat
ac
atleast 35 mpg hwy
CLEAN TITLE IN HAND!!!
has a lot of upgraded after market stuff, such as :
Cold air intake system
after market head and tail lights
mp3/cd player
Spoiler
Racing/sport muffler
two hood mounted air breather scoops for more horsepower
I also just changed the headlights so they are brand new
MP3/CD player is less than a week old
Just recently (less than 100 miles ago all plugs were changed, slick 50 was added when oil was changed, air filter was cleaned(it's a cold air intake filter thatdoesn't need chaning ever so it can just be cleaned, new aluminum or stainless steel heat resistant intake elbow tube was put in, as well as a breather filter)
Car seems like it never runs out of gas, it will go a long way before you need to fill up.
Things that in time will need to be fixed:
The only annoyance is the clutch spring fell out 9 months ago so 2nd gear doesnt engage. How ever the guy before me drove it like that for 8 months just shifting from 1st to 3rd with no problem, I do the same thing just bypassing 2nd gear with absolutely no problem. My mechanic says it's no big deal and will not affect the engine or transmission, or ruin the car or anything like that. Just have to go from 1st to 3rd untill it gets fixed. Clutch springs are just a few bucks at the auto parts store so I'll knock off a 100 from kelley blue book value for that. Keep in mind this is not an immediate fix, you could probably drive it like this for years.
The last thing is the brake rotors will need to be spun or replaced (in the front) So I will knock off another 100 off of KBB for that as well.
That is pretty much it for the bad stuff, although since I did use KBB as good condition rather than great condition. Some minor dings and a couple of scratches should be expected but I'll knock off 200 from kbb value for that as well, even though it is not that bad at all but when you get close you can kinda see some dings here and there.
The price is $2000 more than 400 below KBB value, although no REASONABLE offer will be turned down, I only accept cash and no trades so first come first serve. I need this vehicle gone quickly.
